Senior/Lead AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

As a Senior/Lead AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will: - Develop and present a strong case for AWS migration, highlighting its benefits to client leadership. - Plan and implement technical strategies for migration and modernization, working with skilled technical teams. - Build modern systems using microservices, event-driven designs, and cloud-native tools. - Work with client teams to find repeatable patterns for moving to the cloud. - Identify ways to improve the AWS platform and influence the Migration Acceleration Program.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have: 1. Excellent English communication skills. 2. Experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications or infrastructure. 3. Expertise in areas like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data, and analytics. 4. Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead Architect, leading custom and commercial application projects. 5. Experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for migration. 6. Experience with AI tools (Kiro, Kiro Cli, or similar). 7. Strong skills in architecting and migrating workloads to the public cloud. 8. Familiarity with tools and technologies for migration discovery, automation, and operations. 9. Experience with multi-tier distributed architectures in IT consulting, operations, development, or support. 10. Knowledge of IT budgets, vendor relationships, and the ability to build a case for cloud migration. 11. Strong understanding of migration strategies like rehosting, refactoring, and re-architecting.
