Job Description

Assume the role of Senior Java IVR Application Developer, where you'll design, develop, and maintain IVR applications according to business and technical specifications. You'll be responsible for integrating IVR solutions with vital internal services, monitoring IVR systems, and implementing operational enhancements to improve customer experience. Your tasks will also involve troubleshooting issues, collaborating with project managers for timely delivery of high-quality solutions, and independently supporting a regional business unit in alignment with global objectives. Engage in forward-thinking initiatives to optimize call steering and IVR architecture, and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

1. Requires 7+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on Java. 2. Strong Java programming skills in Java EE and Spring Boot / Spring Core are essential. 3. Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and design patterns is needed. 4. Experience working with SQL for application configuration and data-driven logic is necessary. 5. Practical experience in designing and developing microservices and distributed systems is expected. 6. Hands-on experience with cloud platform engineering, preferably AWS, is required. 7. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes is a must. 8. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including production issue investigation, are important. 9. Effective communication and presentation skills are a must. 10. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment is crucial.
