Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

EDB is looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to develop cloud-based systems. This role involves managing resources through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), offering deep technical support in a global, multi-region setup, and enhancing the skills of team members. You will also handle escalated tickets from the Helpdesk, prioritize security, and work closely with the Information Security team to implement secure solutions and practices.

Qualifications

1. AWS engineering and operations expertise. 2. Advanced Linux system administration proficiency. 3. Expertise in writing and maintaining Terraform and Ansible code. 4. Proficiency in scripting, preferably with Python and Shell. 5. Understanding of CI/CD concepts. 6. Experience with Git & GitHub. 7. Knowledge of cloud security best practices. 8. 5+ years of experience in DevOps and Systems Administration. 9. Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal abilities. 10. Ability to manage activities to meet tight deadlines. 11. Capability to integrate and collaborate within a remote team. 12. Ability to effectively handle internal customer needs.
