Senior HR Generalist
Job Description
Bright Path HR is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support multiple HR projects simultaneously. This role requires strong time management and independent work within limited weekly hours. The ideal candidate will assist the Senior HR Director with HR implementation, communication, and best practices for clients. Responsibilities include attending client meetings, providing support on HR programs such as recruiting, hiring, onboarding, compensation & benefits, training and development, performance management, employee engagement, policies and compliance, Christian ministry guidance, and HRIS implementation. The role also involves creating content for the centralized HR Toolkit, participating in Bright Path HR/Ministry HR Group meetings, and managing special HR projects as needed. Continuous learning about clients and different HR approaches is essential, as well as providing a positive representation of Bright Path HR.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 5 years in an HR Generalist role. 2. Experience working with Christian ministries, churches, or faith-based non-profit organizations. 3. A degree or certificate in Human Resources, or equivalent HR experience. 4. Ability to obtain a current US-based Professional HR certification (SHRM or HRCI) within 2 years. 5. Proven ability to support every area of HR. 6. Ability to work on HR programs with minimal supervision and excellent judgment in Employee Relations. 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 8. Proven ability to prioritize and manage diverse projects with tight timelines. 9. Ability to provide high-quality, detailed, and accurate work product consistently. 10. Ability to focus on confidential, sensitive, and emotional issues. 11. Ability to analyze large spreadsheets and databases. 12. Strong proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and multiple HRIS systems. 13. Ability to demonstrate positive and professional behavior. 14. Ability to incorporate Biblical principles when advising Christian ministry clients. 15. Ability to maintain a professional remote home office in Texas.
