Senior Global Events Professional

Job Description

Lead the development and implementation of a global events strategy aligned with Iron Mountain's growth objectives, brand building, thought leadership, and lead generation targets. Oversee all aspects of event management, including selection, contract negotiations, vendor coordination, booth design, logistics, pre-event promotion, on-site management, and post-event communication and analysis. Serve as the primary point of contact for Iron Mountain events, coordinating with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure consistent messaging and stakeholder readiness. Manage the global events budget to maximize ROI, providing regular reports on spending and performance. Create engaging event-related content, such as internal briefings, promotional emails, and pre/post-show communications for attendees and staff. Collaborate with Demand Generation teams to ensure smooth lead integration from events into our Salesforce CRM system.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate event management, preferably in a global B2B or technology setting. 2. Exceptional organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple timelines concurrently. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with internal stakeholders and customers. 4. Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage the event function. 5. Experience in international shipping, customs, and cultural considerations for global event execution, supported by reliable partners. 6. Willingness to travel 30–35%, including domestic and international travel. 7. Ability to work across different time zones for global event coordination. 8. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
