Senior General Ledger Accountant
Job Description
Seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Responsibilities include preparing general ledger entries, reconciling subsidiary ledger accounts, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. This role involves revenue recognition, intercompany transaction management, and maintaining internal controls in compliance with US GAAP accounting standards. The Senior Accountant will also assist with audits and lead financial analysis projects to improve processes.
Qualifications
1. Requires 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience. 2. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition. 3. Proficiency with large ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus. 4. Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 7. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently. 8. Able to efficiently manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
