Senior Fullstack Developer – Java

Job Description

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will: * Serve as a technical advisor to development teams and requirements analysts. * Guide developers on coding best practices, testing methods, and system design. * Aid the team in creating practical and enduring technical solutions. * Assure the technical excellence of deliverables, aligning tech strategies with business aims. * Join in on technical enhancements and convert needs into workable solutions. * Evaluate technical dangers and offer solutions for potential issues. * Review code and set standards for development. * Ease communication between technical and business units. * Help with technical planning of sprints. * Train and grow the tech skills of the team. * Help the team overcome any technical barriers. * Take part in improving the system's structure. * Encourage a culture of constant growth, innovation, and partnership.

Qualifications

To excel in this Senior Fullstack Developer role, you'll need: 1. Proven background in backend development using Java EE (EJB) and RESTful APIs. 2. Deep skills in frontend development (Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript). 3. Good algorithm structuring skills (ideally with streams, map, reduce). 4. Knowledge of SQL and hands-on with DB2 and SQL Server. 5. Insight into software architecture, including common design patterns and microservices. 6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Git, and Maven. 7. Familiarity with code quality and analysis tools (SonarQube, unit testing). 8. Hands-on experience with observability tools (logs, metrics, traces, and APMs). 9. Familiarity with agile tools (Jira, Confluence). 10. Strong communication skills with tech teams and business people. 11. Experience with agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban). 12. Skills to coach and grow team members technically. 13. Understanding of data modeling and relational databases. 14. Ability to see the big picture and decide on tech based on business value. 15. Java certification (preferred). 16. Experience in finance or banking systems (preferred).
