Senior Full-Stack Engineer – TypeScript / PHP

Job Description

Join our team to build critical healthcare integrations and tackle challenges that others avoid. You'll integrate a modern SaaS product into Pharmacy Management Systems across the US. You will: - Design and build integration architecture from the ground up. - Collaborate closely with client-side engineers to align on APIs, constraints, and system behavior. - Develop backend services using TypeScript (Node.js ecosystem) and maintain/extend existing parts of the system in PHP. - Ensure the predictable behavior of unreliable, third-party systems. - Resolve issues such as data inconsistencies and partial failures. - Own projects end-to-end, from clarifying requirements to deploying solutions.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have: 1. 10+ years of engineering experience. 2. Exceptional strength in TypeScript (Node.js). 3. Comfort working with PHP codebases. 4. Experience building or maintaining complex systems. 5. Experience with integrations, APIs, or distributed systems. 6. Ability to collaborate with external engineering teams. 7. Understanding of reliability and debugging as core skills. 8. Ability to communicate clearly and avoid fragile solutions. It's a plus if you have: - Experience with real-world integrations (fintech, healthcare, logistics, etc.). - Direct collaboration experience with client or partner engineering teams. - Experience debugging systems where you don’t control all components. - Design experience for systems that recover from failure. - Ability to think in terms of tradeoffs.
