Job Description

Join AbbVie as a Senior Field Reimbursement Manager! In this role, you'll educate healthcare providers (HCPs) about patient support programs, access and reimbursement tools, and product-specific options like specialty pharmacy networks. You'll also serve as a local expert on national/regional payer policies, providing insights on payer issues, coding changes, and claims submission processes. Additionally, you'll collaborate with AbbVie's Access and Reimbursement support center to keep HCPs updated on prescription statuses, report payer trends, and build strong relationships with providers within your territory. Stay informed on managed care and reimbursement policies to excel in this dynamic role.

Qualifications

1. Requires 5+ years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management. 2. Requires at least 3 years of experience in the therapeutic area with expertise in Managed Health Care and Payer Account Management. 3. Must demonstrate excellent territory and account management skills. 4. Requires extensive experience educating others on payer processes and coverage requirements. 5. Must have a strong understanding of coding and billing requirements across all settings of care. 6. Requires comprehensive knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D. 7. Must have a strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in specialty pharmacies. 8. Requires demonstrated understanding of reimbursement support service rules and regulations. 9. Must have a strong understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers. 10. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license.
