Job Description

Assume a pivotal role in crafting resilient and adaptable automation frameworks. Take ownership of automation projects for intricate initiatives. Provide mentorship to junior team members. Engage in collaborative efforts with diverse departments. Conceptualize, create, and oversee automated test scripts and frameworks. Spearhead the implementation of automated test scenarios and interpret outcomes to pinpoint potential issues. Detect, record, and address software flaws until resolution. Team up with cross-functional teams to uphold quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Contribute to the formulation of automation strategies. Aid in the integration of automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline. Stay abreast of the newest advancements and technologies in test automation and implement enhancements. Participate in innovative endeavors, including the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Help establish premier automation methodologies.

Qualifications

1. Possess 4-7 years of comprehensive testing experience, including 2-4 years specifically in automation testing. 2. Demonstrate robust proficiency in the Java programming language (Core concepts). 3. Exhibit a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and optimal practices. 4. Exhibit proficiency with Karate, a test automation tool. 5. Demonstrate proficiency with Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG test automation tools. 6. Exhibit experience using the CI/CD tool Jenkins and establishing pipelines. 7. Possess robust communication skills. 8. Exhibit exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities. 9. Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. 10. Preference for candidates with experience mentoring test automation teams.
