Senior Director – Strategy & Delivery, Alzheimer's/Neurology

Job Description

This role involves overall strategy and direction of clinical trials, processes, and procedures. As a Scientific Director, you'll consult on projects, acting as a key contact for customers. Your responsibilities include participating in customer proposals, RFIs, presentations, and Steering Committees, plus providing scientific/regulatory oversight and training to project teams. Collaboration with the Medical Writing department is required for clinical development plans, protocols, and reports. You'll also coordinate the acquisition of medical/scientific input from experts, represent the company at industry events, contribute to SOP development, and provide medical input to other departments. You'll develop strategic client engagement plans, lead executive governance, and define the strategic direction for clinical research projects, maintaining accountability for financial health and promoting a culture of innovation.

Qualifications

1. Develop and implement overall strategy for clinical trials, processes, and procedures. 2. Serve as Scientific Director/consultant, addressing project needs. 3. Act as the primary senior-level contact for customers. 4. Participate in customer proposals, RFIs, presentations, and Steering Committees. 5. Provide scientific/regulatory oversight and project/therapeutic training to project teams. 6. Collaborate with the Medical Writing department in preparing clinical development plans, protocols, and reports. 7. Coordinate the acquisition of medical/scientific input from outside experts/consultants/advisors. 8. Represent the Company at industry meetings and events. 9. Participate in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and medical/scientific tools. 10. Interact with senior management and contribute scientific/medical input to other departments. 11. Serve as the senior-most operational leader and strategic advisor for top-tier clients. 12. Develop and implement strategic client engagement plans to drive long-term partnerships. 13. Oversee and influence high-stakes proposal development and bid defense strategies. 14. Define and oversee the strategic direction for clinical research project delivery. 15. Maintain accountability for the financial health of projects. 16. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
