Senior Director, Healthcare Analytics – Value Based Contracting

Job Description

The Senior Director of Healthcare Analytics is responsible for directing analytic service delivery, aligning strategic objectives with the development of tools and capabilities. This role involves prioritizing and directing the planning and execution of enterprise-wide analytics projects and strategic initiatives. It includes providing senior leadership support and partnership to development efforts between business and technical partners. Communicating strategic intent to analytic teams and managing executive customer expectations and relationships are critical. The role also includes guiding leaders across analytic domains to ensure strong partnerships and leveraging cross-functional skills, as well as mentoring and managing a team of leaders and analysts.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field. 2. 8+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, including leading an organization, creating strategic plans, and operationalizing functional teams. 3. Broad exposure and understanding of statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques in a business performance environment. 4. Working knowledge of SQL/querying languages. 5. Preferred knowledge of programmatic coding languages such as Python and R. 6. Knowledge of basic statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques, including basic data modeling, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis. 7. Strong knowledge of value-based arrangements, including program structures, performance analysis, and performance management. 8. A strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace products.
