Senior Director, Credentialing

Job Description

Spearhead the creation, implementation, and upkeep of GBCI credentialing and certificate initiatives, guaranteeing superior results and program trustworthiness. Manage a team of approximately 10 individuals, delivering guidance, instruction, and performance oversight to boost team efficiency. Ensure all credentialing programs adhere to accreditation benchmarks, encompassing ISO/IEC 17024 and ANSI compliance mandates. Supervise the Credential Maintenance Program (CMP), including regulations, instructional materials, and program reporting. Champion innovative credential development ventures, ensuring projects are completed punctually with defined objectives and results. Work together across departments with Marketing, Business Development, Technology, and Customer Service teams to facilitate program implementation and expansion. Act as the internal authority and chief contact for credentialing initiatives. Handle vendor and consultant partnerships, including agreements and deliverables. Oversee translation endeavors for worldwide credentialing programs. Devise and execute practical plans, financial plans, regulations, and methods aligned with organizational aims. Support governance functions by acting as staff liaison to the Credentialing Steering Committee and Board.

Qualifications

1. Possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in credentialing, professional certification, test development, or a related sector. 2. Demonstrated proficiency in directing teams and administering intricate programs or undertakings. 3. Robust project administration expertise with a proven capability to meet deadlines. 4. Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite. 5. Master’s degree is favored (Business, Management, Educational Measurement, I/O Psychology, or a similar discipline). 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel abilities are desirable). 7. Background with credentialing or assessment platforms is advantageous. 8. Exceptional leadership and team management proficiencies. 9. Outstanding focus on details and precision. 10. Excellent analytical reasoning and problem-solving talents. 11. Successful communication and stakeholder management capabilities. 12. Capacity to handle numerous priorities in a dynamic setting. 13. PMP or comparable project administration certification is favored.
