Senior Director, AI Enterprise Architect

Job Description

Seeking a Senior Director to champion AI enterprise architecture at Salesforce, shaping enterprise transformation for Fortune 1000 companies. This role involves defining scalable architectural patterns for AI and the Salesforce platform, leading architectural modernization efforts, and championing the use of trusted AI. The Senior Director will also establish a global community of Salesforce architects, collaborate with Salesforce Product and Engineering teams, and publish architecture blueprints. They will design and govern Agentforce architectures and define AI governance frameworks to ensure responsible AI adoption. Furthermore, they will support strategic pre-sales engagements and provide architectural governance on complex implementations.

Qualifications

1. Requires 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, platform strategy, or technical advisory roles. 2. Requires expertise in Salesforce architecture, including Agentforce, Data Cloud, Einstein AI, and Industry Cloud implementations at global scale. 3. Requires a track record of executive engagement and influence with C-level leadership at Fortune 1000 companies. 4. Requires hands-on knowledge of AI/ML technologies, including predictive modeling, LLMs, automation, and ethical AI practices in enterprise settings. 5. Requires a strong understanding of data governance, integration patterns, and multi-org / hybrid cloud architectures. 6. Passion for community-building—mentoring architects, hosting forums, and codifying best practices. 7. Exceptional communication skills and executive presence; able to lead architectural conversations at both strategic and technical levels. 8. Experience with Agentforce and Agent Builder, including designing, deploying, and governing autonomous agents in enterprise environments. 9. Deep industry vertical fluency in one or more sectors (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare) to contextualize architecture recommendations for enterprise customers. 10. Hands-on experience with integration platforms — particularly MuleSoft — and the ability to design robust, scalable data and API strategies across complex enterprise landscapes.
