Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We're seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes. You'll drive GitOps practices with Flux for deployment automation, collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve developer experience, and lead incident response efforts. Evaluate new technologies to enhance platform efficiency and mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices. Our tech stack includes GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Flux, ELK, Python (Django), Postgres, Redis, React.js (NextJS), GraphQL, and Apollo.

Qualifications

1. Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of systems and infrastructure are essential. 2. Experience in building the full application release cycle (CI/CD and GitOps, preferably with Flux). 3. Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux Shell. 4. Programming experience in Python or Go is preferred. 5. Expert knowledge of a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with GCP being a significant advantage. 6. Proven DevOps and Infrastructure experience. 7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. 8. Ability to see the bigger picture and carry out system architecture planning. 9. A degree in Computer Science is beneficial but not mandatory. 10. Familiarity with AI coding and productivity tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) and the ability to incorporate them into daily engineering workflows.
