Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Take ownership of the operational stability, availability, and reliability of our global IVR platform across AWS and on-premises environments. Provide support for production deployments, environment configuration, and release activities. Manage the daily operations of high-availability IVR and voice platforms. Monitor system health, performance, and availability using logs and metrics. Actively respond to and participate in production incident investigation and resolution. Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, applications, voice, SIP, and call flow. Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, and analytics teams during incidents and releases. Participate in on-call rotations and provide off-hours production support as required. Integrate security best practices into the pipeline, including access control and vulnerability scanning.

Qualifications

1. 7+ years of experience supporting production systems in a DevOps, SRE, or operations-focused role. 2. Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services. 3. Hands-on experience with EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and VPC networking. 4. Experience with Unix/Linux production environments. 5. Experience supporting AWS-hosted relational databases (e.g., Amazon Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL) in production environments. 6. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls). 7. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and practices. 8. Ability to run network and traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark). 9. Strong troubleshooting, investigation, and production-support skills. 10. Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, architecture, data, and operations teams. 11. Programming in Golang is a plus. 12. Experience with CloudFormation is beneficial.
