Job Description
Join DigitalOcean as a Senior Deal Desk Analyst, where you will foster strong relationships with Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, Revenue Accounting, and Strategic Finance teams. Your role involves partnering with Sales and Revenue Operations to design and execute commercially viable deals. You will spearhead financial modeling and assess the structure of deals, ensuring adherence to established approval processes and policies. Managing escalations and exceptions for key deals will also fall under your purview. Additionally, you'll be responsible for creating insightful discount reports and conducting thorough cadence analytics. Collaborate with R&D Finance and D&A teams to enhance customer and product-level margin analysis.
Qualifications
1. Requires 2+ years in investment banking, consulting, FP&A/sales finance, deal management, sales operations, or business operations. 2. Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving abilities are essential. 3. The candidate should have high standards for accuracy and be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and resourceful. 4. Must possess proactive communication skills, both verbal and written. 5. Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is necessary. 6. Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, or similar CRM tools is preferred. 7. Knowledge of data analysis programs like Looker and Tableau is a plus. 8. A Bachelor’s degree is required.
