Senior Data Scientist

Job Description

Localiza&Co is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance Machine Learning models. This role involves implementing recommendation and personalization models, as well as developing hybrid intelligence systems that combine Machine Learning and generative AI. The Senior Data Scientist will provide technical leadership on projects, engage with business and product teams to define systemic solutions, conduct complex analyses, develop monitoring solutions, optimize large-scale data processing, and support fellow data scientists. Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science and AI is essential.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in extracting value from data, preferably in Data Science/Big Data. 2. Experience in developing Machine Learning models. 3. Ability to evaluate the impact and return on investment of Machine Learning models. 4. Skill in presenting methodologies and results clearly and effectively to business stakeholders. 5. Advanced knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms. 6. Experience with statistics. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8. 4+ years of proven experience working in data science. 9. Advanced and consolidated knowledge of Python and SQL.
