Senior Data Engineer, People Analytics

Job Description

Join our team as a Senior Data Engineer in People Analytics. You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric, ensuring the seamless flow of large data volumes. Elevate ETL/ELT solutions across People systems, enhancing existing implementations. Implement data quality and observability strategies, safeguarding the precision and dependability of People metrics. Scale OneLake by setting layer standards and data strategies. Manage the data lifecycle, ensuring traceability and accessibility. Reinforce governance and security practices, optimizing performance and scalability. Be a key contributor, raising standards and participating in innovation.

Qualifications

1. Proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries. 2. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Data Factory, Spark, and notebooks (Python/PySpark). 3. Development experience with data-oriented languages, especially Python and PySpark. 4. Experience with distributed processing/parallelism, especially Spark. 5. Experience with version control and Git (GitHub) workflows, including PRs and code reviews. 6. Familiarity with software engineering best practices: documentation, testing, coding standards, automation, and maintainability. 7. Experience with data architecture and modeling (e.g., Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Mart). 8. Ability to work collaboratively with ownership and a problem-solving focus. 9. Responsibility to handle confidential/sensitive data (LGPD), including access controls. 10. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
