Join Serasa Experian as a Senior Data Engineer, spearheading the design, implementation, and evolution of our petabyte-scale AWS data platform. You'll be instrumental in constructing and optimizing scalable data pipelines leveraging Scala, Spark, and cloud-native services. As a technical lead, you'll mentor fellow engineers, championing best practices and contributing to pivotal architectural and design decisions. Your role involves planning and executing complex technical initiatives, ensuring operational readiness through adherence to coding standards, and exploring and integrating cutting-edge technologies to enhance our data capabilities.

Qualifications

1. Extensive experience in software and data engineering within large-scale data platforms. 2. Proven expertise with Scala and Apache Spark. 3. In-depth knowledge of the AWS data ecosystem, including Glue, S3, and Athena. 4. Robust understanding of distributed systems principles. 5. Proficient skills in query optimization and storage pattern implementation. 6. Mastery of cloud ecosystems, with AWS as a core requirement and Azure/GCP as advantageous additions. 7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, complemented by equivalent practical experience. 8. Advanced proficiency in English, coupled with the ability to travel to São Carlos, SP, as required.
