Senior Data Engineer, AWS

Job Description

Join Experian as a Senior Data Engineer to support cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring efficient ingestion, transformation, and storage. Collaborate with AWS services to maintain and enhance data workflows. Contribute to data validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of analytics pipelines. Play a key role in developing data lake solutions for reporting and analytics, supporting business partners with reporting and visualization tools. Adhere to best practices for source control, documentation, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

1. Hands-on experience with AWS data services like Glue, S3, Aurora, or RDS. 2. Over 5 years of experience with modern data lake formats such as Parquet or Apache Iceberg. 3. Familiarity with ETL concepts and data warehousing fundamentals. 4. Experience using source control tools like Bitbucket. 5. Exposure to reporting or analytics tools such as SSRS or Tableau. 6. Comfortable working in Agile or DevOps-style team environments.
