Senior Data Analyst

Job Description

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will delve into a diverse range of extensive alternative datasets, extracting valuable insights and identifying key signals. Your responsibilities include: - Analyzing a diverse array of large alternative datasets for insights and signal - Cleaning and structuring semi-structured and unstructured data - Developing and applying data normalization and penalization methods to correct for inherent biases in each dataset - Combining multiple datasets into predictive models - Designing and building scalable data products in collaboration with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Product Managers, and Financial Analysts - Creating innovative and intuitive visual representations of data insights for clients

Qualifications

As a Senior Data Analyst, essential skills and experience include: 1. Possessing strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant information with attention to detail and accuracy. 2. Expertise in using SQL to analyze and organize multiple large datasets. 3. Experience with data modeling and statistical backtesting. 4. Experience with data visualization tools. 5. Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to readily translate between technical and non-technical audiences. 6. Having an interest in consumer and retail behavior across the globe. 7. Ability to manage multiple, rapidly evolving projects. 8. Knowledge of Python or other programming languages is a plus. 9. Experience with alternative data is a plus. 10. Experience with DBT is a plus.
