Senior Consultant – Data Analytics, Internal Audit

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Consultant in Data Analytics and Internal Audit to assist clients in transforming their governance and embedding risk management into their decision-making processes. You will lead Data Analytics Consulting engagements, conduct fieldwork, and prepare workpapers to support conclusions. The role involves discussing findings with management and preparing detailed written reports, offering advice to clients to improve internal controls, and cleaning, transforming, and integrating large data sources using SQL, SAS, or Python. Additionally, you will perform ad-hoc data analysis and create insightful reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree required. 2. 3+ years’ experience in financial institutions, Big 4 or equivalent, or regulatory supervisory of financial institutions. 3. 3+ years of advanced experience with SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, SAS, Python or like toolset. 4. 3+ years of experience in creating dashboards and deploying to clients using Tableau (or Power BI). 5. Exposure to larger financial institutions ($100 billion and up) preferred. 6. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 7. Internal control design and effectiveness understanding. 8. Willingness to travel up to 25%.
