Senior Communications Specialist
Job Description
Shape and execute internal communication strategies for critical initiatives within the Cloud Technology Group. Convert intricate subjects into understandable and actionable messages tailored for various audiences and platforms. Provide expert advice to stakeholders on efficient communication techniques and establish self-service resources for team members. Organize the content and management of quarterly All Hands meetings. Assist with a group to align communication strategies with employee experiences. Explore the use of AI to increase team efficiency and identify innovative strategies to improve output. Collaborate within Akamai's Communications Network to ensure consistent messaging.
Qualifications
1. Requires 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 2. Strong business writing skills, capable of adjusting tone for different audiences. 3. Proficient in Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, and Sheets) or similar tools. 4. Keen interest in integrating internal communications with organizational success. 5. Self-driven with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. 6. Collaborative team member, comfortable engaging with all levels of staff.
