Senior Cloud Security Engineer – FedRamp

Job Description

Zimperium is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage robust security measures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI environments. This role involves acting as a subject matter expert in security automation, utilizing CloudFormation and Terraform for scalable infrastructure deployment. Key responsibilities include enforcing rigorous security configuration benchmarks like CIS Level 2 and DISA STIGs, configuring and optimizing cloud-native security tools such as Palo Alto Prisma Cloud and Google SecOps, and deploying Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) to protect critical applications. The engineer will also integrate security testing tools into CI/CD pipelines, design secure credential storage solutions, conduct threat modeling, support audits, and proactively drive security improvements with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

1. 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Cloud Security Engineering. 2. Expert proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation. 3. Deep experience securing AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. 4. Expertise in system hardening using CIS Level 2 and DISA STIGs. 5. Extensive Linux administration and Kubernetes security experience. 6. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, Orca, Google SecOps, and Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls. 7. Demonstrated experience with WAF solutions like F5. 8. Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipeline integration. 9. Experience with Secret Management solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Vault). 10. Excellent communication skills for executive-level reports and technical presentations. 11. Ability to operate independently and take ownership.
