Senior Business Systems Analyst

Job Description

Analyze business issues, providing recommendations for solutions. Collaborate with business users and IT teams to drive decision-making and define application development requirements, ensuring business needs are met. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements. Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, and process flows. Work with development teams to ensure requirement understanding, providing support throughout the development lifecycle. Analyze application reliability, offering recommendations for solutions. Work with IT and business partners to implement solutions that enhance application and infrastructure reliability. Perform and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that delivered solutions meet requirements. Analyze compliance vulnerabilities, working with IT and business teams to eliminate them and support audit activities. Communicate project status and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or 6 – 10 years of equivalent work experience. 2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically. 3. Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success. 4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with cross-functional teams. 5. Ability to lead and facilitate meetings with stakeholders at various levels. 6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities. 7. Working knowledge of Microsoft application software (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio, and Project). 8. Working experience with Azure DevOps and JIRA is highly desired.
