Senior AWS DevOps Engineer
Job Description
Assume responsibility for designing, constructing, and overseeing AWS infrastructure, with a focus on enhancing scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness throughout various environments. Employ Terraform to create and manage Infrastructure-as-Code, guaranteeing adaptable, reusable, and uniform implementations. Formulate and put into action CI/CD pipelines, utilizing GitLab, across the application, data, and infrastructure layers. Construct and sustain Kubernetes (EKS) workloads, managing deployments, scaling operations, and resolving production-related issues. Effectively utilize a broad array of AWS services, encompassing computing resources (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda), networking capabilities (VPCs, subnets, security groups), and event-driven systems (API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, Step Functions). Take charge of and fine-tune data services, including RDS (PostgreSQL) and ClickHouse. Employ tools such as Packer and Ansible to automate infrastructure and environment configuration for AMI creation and setup. Incorporate and refine observability practices through the utilization of CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and centralized logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, ELK). Work in close cooperation with developers and data engineers to enhance deployment workflows, system dependability, and platform functionality. Enforce strict security protocols across the infrastructure, including IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager. Provide assistance in incident response, troubleshooting procedures, and continuous enhancement of production systems.
