Senior Area Sales Manager – Air & Water
Job Description
Join GE Appliances as a Senior Area Sales Manager and drive the sales of our comprehensive Air & Water product line. Focus on both acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships with national and regional distributors. Play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and collaborating with distributors to expand our reach. Meet and exceed sales targets while developing customer-centric programs and marketing strategies. Deliver compelling training and product presentations that showcase the value of GEA Air & Water solutions. Utilize reporting and analysis tools to track sales metrics and promptly address customer issues to build trust and credibility. Oversee third-party manufacturing representatives in the region to ensure effective promotion of our products.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant sales experience. 2. Proven ability to build strong, lasting relationships with customers, management, and peers, built on credibility and trust. 3. Proficient in communication, presentation, organizational, and negotiation skills. 4. Willingness to travel within the territory to meet customers. 5. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 6. Bilingual – Spanish and English. 7. 5 years+ Previous sales experience in the plumbing or HVAC industry, either as a vendor or distributor. 8. Experience in developing and implementing sales territory growth plans. 9. Competitive spirit with a 'never-give-up' attitude and the tenacity to devise solutions to complex problems.
