Senior Analyst, Procurement - Buyer

Job Description

Join RTX as a Senior Analyst, Procurement - Buyer, where you'll manage purchase orders from supplier selection through RFP/RFQ submission. Your responsibilities include analyzing quotes, negotiating terms, documenting purchase orders, and monitoring supplier performance and delivery. You'll actively monitor open orders, provide status updates, and promptly notify Operations and Program personnel of any delivery changes, escalating issues as necessary to expedite resolutions. Furthermore, you'll be proactive in seeking new sources of supply when needed and nurturing successful long-term supplier relationships to ensure optimal procurement outcomes.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. 2. Advanced Degree in a related field is a plus. 3. Two years of prior Buying Experience. 4. Knowledge of government regulations (FAR/DFAR/ITAR/CUI). 5. U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
