Job Description

Join RTX as a Senior Analyst in Commodity Management & Sourcing, where you'll be instrumental in supply chain enhancement initiatives. Your responsibilities include: - Spearheading and executing supply chain projects focused on cost reduction and strategic improvements. - Actively participating in annual goal-setting processes. - Contributing to the achievement of sourcing targets and roadmap metrics. - Rigorously analyzing price proposals, financial records, and pertinent data. - Assessing vendor capabilities, quality standards, reliability, and competitive pricing. - Contributing to the formulation of strategic plans for commodities and key suppliers. - Skillfully negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and vendors. - Establishing negotiation parameters for the procurement of goods and services. - Performing comprehensive research on suppliers to ensure alignment with organizational standards for price, quality, and delivery reliability. - Managing relationships with strategic accounts across specified commodities. - Leading the sourcing lifecycle from RFQ to contract execution. - Ensuring supplier performance meets Collins' expectations for delivery, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, the following qualifications are essential: 1. A bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field. 2. Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar area.
