Senior Analyst, Analytics
Job Description
Take the lead on analytics projects, from defining the scope to delivering results, and tackle business challenges with both basic and advanced analytical techniques. Work closely with US teams in areas like Acquisition, Lifecycle, and Products to support their goals. Enhance skills with various data tools, software, and methods to improve current capabilities and create new data science solutions. Manage projects from start to finish, including planning, data collection, strategy development, and presenting findings. Ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with project management standards. Promote a focus on delivering insights rather than just providing data and reports. Offer strategic insights across different types of projects. Discuss projects, highlight their impact, and push for their implementation to assess business results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data collection and performance measurement, resolving issues as needed, and contribute to research projects following established guidelines.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in any field with 2-4 years of analytics experience in financial services, or 4-6 years of similar experience without a degree. 2. 2-4 years of practical experience with SQL, SAS, and Tableau, with at least 2 years of SAS experience for independent data extraction and aggregation. 3. Understand financial concepts and processes and translate them into measurable metrics. 4. Able to define methodologies, present insights to teams, and influence decisions. 5. Highly skilled in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint, with strong data analysis and presentation skills. 6. Knowledgeable about credit card industry financial drivers and sensitivities. 7. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. 8. Proven ability to independently provide analytical solutions to business problems.
