Senior Analyst, Accounts Payable
Job Description
We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert for all Accounts Payable process-related questions. Monitoring daily queues and aging for all Accounts Payable invoicing is crucial. The ability to conduct comprehensive research on payment inquiries and respond promptly to both internal and external customers is expected. Troubleshooting and resolving supplier payment escalations that fail the audit process is a key responsibility. Communicating escalations to all levels of internal and external stakeholders is essential. Leading and inspiring a high-performing Accounts Payable team by driving continuous improvement and innovation is vital. This includes identifying and implementing automation and AI-driven solutions to reduce manual work and improve scalability. Monitoring critical clients and suppliers, proactively addressing escalations, and analyzing processes for improvement opportunities are also key. Additional responsibilities include documenting and supporting new processes, assessing team training needs, performing quality control audits, utilizing AI and automation tools, and managing special projects.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred, or relevant business experience. 2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or the Accounting/Finance field. 3. Strong mathematical and accounting skills, with demonstrated communication and leadership abilities. 4. Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet critical business deadlines. 5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. 6. Working knowledge of Automation Anywhere, RPA, ServiceNow, and computerized financial systems is highly desired. 7. Excellent professional communication skills (written and verbal); English language proficiency required. 8. Sharp attention to detail and accuracy. 9. Team-oriented. 10. Internally motivated and a self-starter. 11. Strong customer service skills. 12. Proven planning and organizational skills. 13. Relationship-building, interpersonal, and influencing skills. 14. Ability to multitask.
