Senior Actuarial Risk Analyst
Job Description
Join Blue Cross Life as a Senior Actuarial Risk Analyst and play a crucial role in supporting our risk management initiatives. Lead the stress testing program, encompassing model development, maintenance, execution, assumption updates, and reporting to management and the Board. Oversee annual ORSA activities, including the development, maintenance, and execution of ORSA models, and support the preparation of the ORSA Report. You'll be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and enhancing risk and liquidity models, compiling and reporting quarterly risk metrics, and building innovative models to strengthen risk quantification and analytics. Additionally, you'll support risk frameworks, policies, and enterprise risk reporting, facilitate risk identification and assessment, monitor emerging risks, and establish methodologies for calculating and reporting GHG emissions. Qualifications
1. Hold a degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science. 2. Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. 3. Have ASA / ACIA designations, actively pursuing FSA / FCIA. 4. Demonstrate knowledge of CIA professional standards (life & disability). 5. Exhibit working knowledge of IFRS 17. 6. Demonstrate advanced Excel skills; experience with VBA and Python. 7. Possess strong actuarial, insurance, and statistical fundamentals. 8. Have demonstrated experience in building and maintaining risk models. 9. Exhibit excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. 10. Fluent in English, both written and verbal, to effectively serve customers and communicate with internal stakeholders.
