Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support our ACA Marketplace health insurance products. In this role, you will: 1. Assist with financial analysis, forecasting, pricing, and risk assessment. 2. Support actuarial forecasting and financial analysis. 3. Develop and run data reports, analyzing large claims and membership datasets. 4. Maintain documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and data sources. 5. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications: 1. ASA-track candidates meeting the SOA Rule of 5 with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 2. Experience in a data-driven analytical role. 3. Strong actuarial study support. 4. Knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and principles of finance and business. 5. Comfort working in ambiguous or evolving problem spaces. 6. SQL and R proficiency.
