Senior Accountant

Job Description

Assume a leadership role supporting the month-end and quarter-end closing procedures, emphasizing precision and adherence to deadlines. Manage the creation and documentation of revenue-related journal entries, using thorough analysis of transaction data. Guarantee the accuracy of sub-ledger activities by reconciling them with general ledger balances, promptly identifying and resolving any discrepancies. Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations, scrutinizing income statements and comparing them against budget projections. Work in partnership with both internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to regulatory standards for public company reporting. Promote collaboration across teams, including FP&A, Tax, Financial Operations, Internal Audit, and Legal, to enhance financial reporting and drive strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 2. 3-6 years of progressive accounting or billing operations experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment. 3. Public accounting and/or U.S. technical accounting experience preferred. 4. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting processes. 5. Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 6. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. 8. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion Cloud and CRM platforms such as Salesforce a plus.
