Senior Accountant – Workday Financials

Job Description

Seeking a Senior Accountant to spearhead our Workday Financials migration, focusing on optimizing U.S. tech company's financial infrastructure. This role involves leading design sessions for the Foundation Data Model, overseeing data cleansing and mapping, and developing test scripts for User Acceptance Testing. You'll design advanced financial reports and train internal teams for sustained system support post-go-live. Expert troubleshooting during stabilization and managing service updates will also be key responsibilities.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred 2. 5+ years of hands-on experience as an accountant, with Workday Financials and at least one full lifecycle implementation 3. Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, FDM architecture, and Workday modules such as Record to Report (R2R) and Procure to Pay (P2P) 4. Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and the capacity to drive consensus and manage change effectively among cross-functional teams 5. Must be U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.
