Senior Accountant, QuickBooks
Job Description
Assume responsibility for recording accounting transactions and preparing trial balances along with financial statements. Execute audit procedures encompassing cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, fixed assets, prepaid and accrued expenses, debt, and income statement accounts. Draft tax returns and related work papers with precision and efficiency. Utilize a functional understanding of relevant tax regulations and laws. Exhibit familiarity with standards set by FASB, AICPA, and GASB. Comply with AICPA regulations, rules, and ethical guidelines. Understand and implement pertinent IRC sections and regulations. Achieve targeted billable hours while maintaining meticulous timekeeping. Demonstrate a comprehensive grasp of accounting and bookkeeping procedures. Handle various clients while upholding superior service standards.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting is essential. 2. A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive accounting cycle experience. 3. Strong competence in using QuickBooks Online. 4. Proven experience in managing numerous clients simultaneously. 5. Experience in team leadership. 6. Availability to work during US business hours, with a 4–6 hour overlap (depending on the client). 7. Background in Construction (project-based accounting, job costing, WIP) and Healthcare (high-volume bookkeeping, operational accounting).
