Join PCS Software as a Senior Account Executive and play a crucial role in expanding our client base and securing new business. This position involves actively engaging with potential clients through cold calling and on-site visits to cultivate strong relationships and close deals. Manage a substantial portion of leads through proactive outbound efforts, building a robust pipeline to consistently exceed quota targets. Utilize Salesforce.com to meticulously document daily sales activities, overseeing the full sales cycle from initial contact to implementation.
Qualifications
1. Requires 5+ years of proven outside sales experience, specifically targeting mid-market and enterprise transportation businesses. 2. Must have a demonstrated ability to successfully hunt and prospect for sales opportunities through outbound calling, face-to-face customer meetings, and participation in industry marketing events and campaigns for 5+ years. 3. B2B phone sales experience is essential. 4. Should possess 2+ years of sales experience in sectors such as Transportation or Logistics Software Sales, SaaS Sales, Platform Sales, Technology Sales, or other related industries. 5. Familiarity with CRM systems, with a preference for Salesforce. 6. A consistent track record of achieving and surpassing sales quotas is necessary.
