Medusind is seeking a Senior Account Executive to serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships. This role involves regular communication with clients to understand their needs, address issues, and provide updates on Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) performance. The ideal candidate will anticipate client concerns and proactively address potential challenges. This position requires overseeing the entire revenue cycle process, including charge capture, coding, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and accounts receivable follow-up. Collaboration with clients to identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve billing accuracy, and increase revenue collection is essential. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS) and client-specific policies is a key responsibility. The Senior Account Executive will monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the revenue cycle. This includes developing and delivering client-specific reports that provide insights on revenue trends, outstanding accounts, and operational performance. Utilizing data to drive process improvements and make recommendations for enhanced efficiency and profitability is crucial. The role also involves promptly investigating and resolving any escalated billing or collection issues, collaborating with internal teams (coding, billing, compliance, etc.) to resolve complex client concerns, and ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of denied or rejected claims. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge is vital. The Senior Account Executive will recommend process improvements and implement best practices to optimize the RCM workflow and contribute to internal process documentation and training materials.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance or equivalent experience. 2. Experience in Anesthesia/Ophthalmology Revenue Cycle Management is preferred. 3. Relevant certifications such as Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) are a plus. 4. 5+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management or related healthcare finance roles. 5. Proven experience in client relationship management. 6. Deep understanding of healthcare billing, coding, compliance, and insurance processes. 7. Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights. 8. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 9. Exceptional customer service skills and ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention. 10. Proven capability to handle high-pressure scenarios and professionally address client escalations and concerns. 11. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 12. Ability to set and maintain priorities in a fast-paced client-focused environment, with multiple demands and interruptions. 13. Ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of people including other department managers, staff, physicians, patients, and the client. 14. Advanced proficiency in RCM software and Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and reporting). 15. Experience leveraging data analytics, technology, and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 16. Adaptability to changes in regulations, technologies, and industry trends to adjust the revenue cycle management strategy accordingly. 17. Ability to monitor team performance and make adjustments as needed to improve team and individual performance.
