Select Presale – Sales Support Analyst

Job Description

Review Request for Proposals (RFPs) and prepare medical, dental, and vision quotes. Collaborate with Sales leads and business partners to coordinate new business sales and existing business renewals within the U500 Business Segment. Manage multiple aspects of the RFP process and coordinate deliverables to clients and/or producers. Ensure the accuracy of information and opportunities in Salesforce.com. Submit complete and accurate proposal data to Underwriting and other matrix partners promptly. Proactively communicate with internal and external customers to facilitate the RFP workflow. Communicate effectively with Brokers to demonstrate the value Cigna brings to the market. Develop and build relationships with matrix partners. Support New Business Managers with benefit optimization. May work on various projects within the sales office.

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience may substitute in lieu of degree. 2. Health insurance background with general understanding of the overall sales process is preferred. 3. Possess strong written & verbal communication skills. 4. Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 5. Be detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills. 6. Have basic math skills. 7. Possess the ability to work in a production-like, fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change. 8. Demonstrate strong organization skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment; manage, prioritize, and work on numerous projects at one time. 9. Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure while anticipating the needs of the customer and/or business partner and understanding the consequences of actions. 10. Exhibit strong computer-based technical skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and internet/web navigation.
