Sales Representative, Retail Consumer Sales

Job Description

Drive sales within your assigned territory through product demonstrations, proactive customer engagement, and solution-oriented selling techniques. Deliver impactful presentations and proposals to both prospective and existing retail clients. Work closely with retail staff and internal colleagues to facilitate comprehensive product training and boost overall product awareness. Spearhead in-store demos, conduct site visits, and lead customer training sessions to enhance product knowledge and drive sales. Actively identify and pursue fresh sales opportunities through targeted outreach and diligent market research. Collect and disseminate key market insights, monitor competitor activities, and contribute innovative product ideas to keep the company ahead. Perform jobsite inspections and report potential claims with detailed follow-up. Ensure all account activities, product resources, and communications are consistently accurate and up-to-date. Strictly adhere to company safety standards, policies, and procedures in daily operations. Handle additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of five years of proven sales experience with commercial products; familiarity with flooring installation materials is highly desirable. 2. Must live near Indianapolis, IN, Cincinnati, OH, or Columbus, OH. 3. A high school diploma or GED is essential; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred. 4. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint within Windows. Experience with Knowledge 365 or Dynamics AX is advantageous. 5. Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license. 6. Willingness to travel frequently to meet business needs.
