Sales Manager – East Coast

Job Description

Join our team as a Sales Manager for the East Coast, focusing on promoting our specialty chemical additives. Your primary responsibilities include new market and customer prospecting. Excellence in closing deals, and responsiveness is a must. You will leverage your negotiation skills to sell value, covering a current territory size of $3 – 5 MM. You will have short to mid-term business potential: $1 - 2MM. (within 1-3 years)

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree – Technical Degree, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering highly preferred 2. Minimum 5 years Direct Territory Sales experience 3. Preferred is candidate also has 3-5 years’ lab experience in formulations or application testing 4. Chemical Industry experience required; Performance Chemical experience is a plus. 5. The following product lines are preferred: 6. Defoamers 7. Wetting Agents 8. Thickeners and Dispersants 9. Wax Dispersions/Micronized Waxes 10. Powder Additives for Construction 11. Must live in the Northeast region (Preferred NY,NJ,PA) 12. Travel 60% in the field (3 out of 5 days visiting customers, up to two weeks a month overnight travel)
