Sales Incentive Compensation Senior Manager
Job Description
Take ownership of the company-wide sales compensation strategy. Devise incentive compensation plans, pay structures, performance accelerators, SPIFs, and key metrics. Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to ensure ROI and alignment with budgetary goals. Steer the design and fine-tuning of compensation plans. Ensure precise commission calculations and prompt payouts. Establish robust controls, documentation, and adherence to compliance standards. Handle dispute resolution and uphold plan clarity. Collaborate with Payroll, HR, and Finance on accruals and reporting processes. Furnish executive-level reporting on goal achievement, correlation between pay and performance, and overall plan effectiveness. Forecast incentive compensation expenses and scrutinize budget variances. Spot trends, potential risks, and opportunities for enhanced productivity. Develop scalable dashboards and reporting solutions. Enhance incentive compensation systems through automation. Team up with various departments to boost data accuracy and streamline reporting. Spearhead process improvements to elevate accuracy and mitigate risks. Serve as the main compensation advisor to Commercial Leadership. Share insights and recommendations with top-level stakeholders.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is desirable. 2. Possess 8+ years of experience in Incentive Compensation, Sales Operations, Finance, or Commercial Analytics. 3. Should have 3+ years of experience in people leadership. 4. Have a track record of designing and managing complex sales compensation plans. 5. Exhibit strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical abilities. 6. Have a thorough grasp of pay-for-performance principles and governance. 7. Prior experience in healthcare, biotech, or life sciences is a plus. 8. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Advanced Excel, ICM Systems, Salesforce, BI tools (e.g., Looker/Tableau), and SQL is beneficial.
