Job Description

Join Socomec Group as a Sales Engineer and manage customer accounts in the B2B electrical engineering sector. Your responsibilities include managing existing clients and acquiring new accounts, focusing on innovative switching components and energy efficiency products. Develop long-term customer relationships, provide technical advice, and collaborate with internal sales and application engineering teams to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction. Contribute proactively to developing the service proposition and work with local and international colleagues.

Qualifications

1. Hold a higher professional education (HBO) degree in electrical engineering or a vocational (MBO) degree with relevant work experience. 2. Possess several years of experience in commercial field service within the electro-technical industry. 3. Exhibit knowledge of low-voltage components and energy management systems. 4. Demonstrate strong communication skills to translate customer needs into Socomec solutions. 5. Be ambitious, entrepreneurial, commercially oriented, and results-driven. 6. Be a self-starter, capable of working independently and as a team player. 7. Be accustomed to working in an organized manner and setting priorities. 8. Be comfortable with frequent travel to client locations. 9. Have experience with Windows, Salesforce, and ERP systems. 10. Possess excellent written and spoken Dutch and English skills. 11. Preferably reside in the northwest Netherlands. 12. Hold a category B driver's license.
