Sales Engineer
Job Description
Join our team as a Sales Engineer and play a key role in guiding customers through the technical aspects of our SaaS solutions. You will lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and build proof-of-concept environments. Respond to RFPs and security questionnaires, document technical requirements, and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve our platform. Be part of a cross-functional team, working with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align on messaging and strategy. Maintain thorough deal documentation in Salesforce or similar CRM system.
Qualifications
1. 3-5 years of experience in pre-sales or solutions engineering within a SaaS environment. 2. Proven ability to manage multiple evaluations simultaneously while ensuring quality and follow-through. 3. Comprehensive understanding of cloud software architecture, REST APIs, and modern integration patterns. 4. Excellent presentation and written communication skills, adaptable to technical and executive audiences. 5. Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform. 6. Preferred hands-on experience with scripting or coding (Python or JavaScript) for demo or integration purposes. 7. Preferred domain expertise in FinTech, HealthTech, or Enterprise SaaS verticals. 8. Preferred familiarity with security and compliance frameworks like SOC 2, GDPR, or HIPAA. 9. Preferred professional certification in a relevant technical or sales methodology (e.g., AWS, Salesforce, MEDDIC).
