Job Description

Take the lead in every technical aspect of the customer's journey, from initial discovery to system design, deployment planning, and continuous post-launch optimization. Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers and partners, creating custom IP-based and satellite-enabled network solutions to meet their unique needs. Conduct thorough technology evaluations, feasibility studies, and proof-of-concept trials for proposed designs. Collaborate closely with internal teams—Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations—to guarantee solution integrity and smooth transitions from design to execution. Generate comprehensive technical documentation, design specifications, configuration guides, and performance assessments. Oversee deployments by providing technical supervision, troubleshooting support, and validation testing during implementation and go-live stages. Evaluate post-sales system performance data and customer input to pinpoint optimization opportunities and future enhancements. Document evolving technical needs and field feedback to inform product roadmaps, network design improvements, and the integration of new technologies. Participate in technical presentations, workshops, and customer training sessions to enhance technical understanding and system adoption. Keep informed of the latest developments in network infrastructure technologies, wireless communications, satellite systems, and IP networking best practices.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Systems Engineering, or a related technical field 2. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications, mobile networks, or broadcast systems engineering 3. Strong understanding of digital communication systems, RF signal theory, IP network design, and traffic management (QoS) 4. Experience deploying or managing VSAT platforms, IP routing, and transmission technologies (unicast/multicast, VoIP, IPsec) 5. Familiarity with wireless communications systems including Wi-Fi and cellular architectures 6. Proven experience across both pre- and post-sales technical activities, with direct ownership of system design, deployment, and performance outcomes 7. Excellent technical communication and documentation skills, able to convey complex engineering concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences 8. Comfort operating in multicultural, customer-facing environments, with the ability to travel up to 20% across the US 9. High attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset aimed at achieving long-term customer success.
