Job Description

Seeking a Sales Director to forge impactful partnerships with city governments, transport authorities, and private operators, closing deals and managing complex sales cycles. Drive the go-to-market strategy for the Central region, understanding procurement processes and funding cycles. Develop compelling business cases demonstrating the benefits of the Via platform, enhancing ridership, efficiency, and sustainability. Serve as a trusted advisor to city leaders and mobility operators, guiding future transit networks and addressing operational and political challenges. Represent Via at senior levels, shaping the understanding of modern mobility through events and thought leadership. Provide valuable market intelligence to product and strategy teams, translating insights into strategic decisions for Via's market approach.

Qualifications

1. 10+ years in sales, business development, or strategy, excelling in enterprise, government, infrastructure, or tech-enabled services; public transport/mobility experience preferred. 2. Proven track record of securing complex, high-value deals through trust and influence. 3. Exceptional analytical and storytelling abilities to translate data, policy, and customer needs into compelling narratives. 4. Adaptable communication style for diverse settings, from boardrooms to written proposals. 5. Highly motivated self-starter, adept at turning ambiguity into action and setting high standards. 6. Strong commercial judgment to maximize deal value through strategic decision-making. 7. Natural leader thriving in team environments with high ownership.
