Sales Director
Job Description
As Sales Director at Wavelo, you'll collaborate with our VP of Sales to expand our new client base and meet our revenue objectives. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic and innovative team, contributing significantly to Wavelo's growth. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across North America. You will manage forecasts, track customer data, and cultivate potential clients through the sales cycle. We advocate a consultative sales approach, prioritizing understanding client needs before presenting our solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in demonstrating how Wavelo addresses and resolves customer challenges, working closely with Customer Success, Marketing, and Engineering teams as needed. Ideally, you possess a technical background and experience selling cutting-edge solutions to Tier-1 CSPs.
Qualifications
1. 7+ years of experience in Enterprise Sales, managing complex, multi-stakeholder, multimillion-dollar outbound sales deals through the full cycle to closing. 2. Proven history of consistently exceeding quota in a fast-paced sales environment (top 10% performer). 3. Deep knowledge of sales coaching, best practices, and sales methodology. 4. Experience working with SaaS. 5. Experience working for a software provider in the telecom industry where the ICPs were technical leaders, including CTO and CIO of Tier-1 CSP.
