Sales Director – Lab Design and Furniture
Job Description
Lead the technical Sales Specialist team at Avantor as we expand into the high-end laboratory design market. Understand client needs and provide solutions using our expertise. Promote the Avantor brand as a leader. Build team, raise awareness for the lab design market and create market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business deals.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in Architecture, Business, Construction preferred. 2. 5+ years in laboratory design, laboratory construction, laboratory casework, biosafety or fume hood sales experience. 3. Working understanding of the construction industry. 4. Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, CRMs, & PowerBI/Qliksense. 5. Advanced Excel and analytical skills. 6. Ability to travel 50%+ (customer sites, meetings, etc.).
