Sales Development Representative
Job Description
The India SDR Team Lead will be responsible for driving pipeline creation and qualified sales opportunities (QSOs) across the India & SAARC region. This role includes coaching and developing a team of SDRs. The role involves direct individual contributions to opportunity creation through proactive outbound prospecting for new logo acquisition and effective qualification of inbound leads from digital, web, events, and partner activities. This is a critical role for accelerating early-stage pipeline growth by combining sales development execution with team leadership. A successful candidate will build strong outbound cadences, maintain high standards of lead follow-up and qualification, and partner with Account Executives, Sales & Marketing Leadership, and channel stakeholders to maximize conversion into high-quality sales opportunities. They will also strengthen regional Go To Market execution by improving lead management discipline, supporting targeted campaigns and strategic call-downs, and identifying opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and overall sales development performance.
Qualifications
1. 2+ years' experience in a Sales Development Role. 2. Working in a channel-based company, an understanding of the IT channel. 3. Experienced in high-volume outbound, telephone-based lead generation/sales. 4. Experience with technical products in the hi-tech industry. 5. Process-oriented in lead management. 6. Ability to create a sense of urgency with prospects. 7. Ability to identify needs/pain. 8. Ability to present value-based messaging. 9. Solid Communication skills (written and verbal). 10. Familiar with CRM system for managing leads. 11. Meeting deadlines and commitments. 12. Active Listening. 13. Influencing skills. 14. Assertiveness. 15. Attention to Detail. 16. Creativity. 17.
